Knitting Lessons
Knitting lessons at The Shed at Rock Hollow Farm are designed for all skill levels, from beginners to more advanced knitters. They are taught in a relaxed, supportive and non-judgmental way, tailored to how you learn best. If you’ve struggled to learn knitting in the past, felt frustrated and given up, or simply never had the right guidance to explore new techniques, these lessons are here to help – encouraging, patient and always welcoming.
Class sizes are limited to 4-6 participants to provide personalized attention in a warm and welcoming environment.
Spinning Lessons
If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at making your own yarn but weren’t ready to invest in a spinning wheel, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Our Introduction to Spinning lessons provide everything you need, including a spinning wheel and fiber so, that you can dive into the craft without the upfront cost.
In these private, one-on-one sessions, you’ll receive personalized instruction on the tools of spinning – from different types of spinning wheels and fibers to essential techniques. Whether you’re brand new to spinning or looking to refine your skills, these lessons are designed to be hands-on, enjoyable, and tailored just for you!
Quilting and Sewing Lessons
From beginner-friendly quilts to intricate multi-session projects, we’ll guide you every step of the way. Learn essential sewing skills like reading patterns, stitching, buttonholes, and zippers – all while completing a fun, hands-on project to take home.
No matter what your experience level, our lessons are designed to be engaging, informative and fun.
