About Us

Welcome to Rock Hollow Farm!

My husband, Marc, and I purchased the farm in 2010 and made it our permanent home after retiring from Pennsylvania in 2014. Together, we care for seven alpacas, two Kentucky Mountain horses, a flock of Isa Brown laying hens. We hay our own fields, cultivate a large garden, and strive to live as sustainably as possible, sharing every aspect of farm life as partners.

Our alpacas are sheared once a year, producing luxurious fleece that I process—sometimes with the help of a local fiber mill—into roving, batts, yarn, and cozy knitted accessories. My passion for fiber extends beyond yarn into quilting. I’ve transformed my love of garment sewing into designing, piecing, and finishing one-of-a-kind quilts. With the addition of a long-arm quilting machine, I can now create custom quilting designs to enhance each unique piece.

Bringing customers’ creative visions to life is one of my greatest joys. Many people have ideas for a quilt or knitted item but lack the time or skills to complete them—this is where I step in. I listen, collaborate, and craft handmade pieces that reflect their vision. For those eager to learn, I also offer lessons in knitting, spinning, sewing, fiber processing, and quilting, with private instruction tailored to individual needs.
